Welcome to the 64 1/2 K code Mustang Roll Call Database

 The total minimum number of 64 ½ K code Mustangs manufactured. This is the number presented in the book “HiPo 1964 ½ Ford’s First High Performance Mustang – History, Identification, Lore” by Scott McMullen 

The total number of all 64 ½ K code Vehicle Identification Numbers currently reported. This may include VINs of vehicles for which only their stamped drive-train components are known, those that may have been destroyed, and those that HAVE NOT been validated.  (For example, a VIN that was reported without any additional supporting evidence – no  pictures, no written evidence, etc.) 

 The total number of 64 ½ K code Vehicle Identification Numbers with documented evidence that the vehicle or some of its VIN stamped components existed. (This is a subset of the Known VIN Count). This evidence may be in the form of photographs or written documentation referencing the VIN.   Please note that this evidence may date back to 1990 and there may not be any more recent evidence that the vehicle or its drive-train components still exist.

  The total number of 64 ½ K code Vehicle Identification Numbers for which there is documented evidence that the car itself (not just drive-train or components) existed and there is no reported evidence that the vehicle has been destroyed.   (This is a subset of the Validated VIN Count). This evidence may be in the form of photographs or written documentation that identifies the vehicle itself by VIN either in the photograph or in textual documentation.
